Wireless Network Priority

I share my wireless internet with my 2 roommates free of charge. However, every now and then one of them will queue up a list of music to download (for example) and it bogs down my own connection considerably.

I'm looking for a way to prioritize my host computer so that the others don't overpower mine when I'm playing an online game or something that needs a steady connection. I tried looking in System Preferences>Network>Network Port Configurations, but that doesn't seem to be what I'm looking for.

I'm sure there's a simple solution to this, I just can't seem to figure it out. I would really appreciate any suggestions. Thank you.

The feature you are looking for is QoS aka quality of service. Kind of - this would be prioritizing services and ports, not certain MAC addresses for access.
If QoS or any variation of it will be possible, it would be in your router's manual or settings.
