Mac help

Hi I have a Mac that has trouble loading. I see a globe spinning, then it goes to a question mark with a folder, then it goes to the loading page, but does not load from there. It tries to load but if I left it on it, would last the whole day. What do I do??

Thank you
Adam

You DO need to provide a few more particulars! Model, OS, etc.

Start up with your install disk by holding down the "C" key. When started, navigate to Utilities-->Disk Utility in the menu bar at top. Run it after highlighting your HD.

This SHOULD fix it, but if not, make notes of the results and post here.
