| Desktop problem My computer's details. Model Name: iMac Model Identifier: iMac4,1 Processor Name: Intel Core Duo Processor Speed: 2 GHz Number Of Processors: 1 Total Number Of Cores: 2 L2 Cache (per processor): 2 MB Memory: 2 GB Bus Speed: 667 MHz Boot ROM Version: IM41.0055.B08 SMC Version: 1.1f5 Serial Number: W86064TQU2P When you hit the "apple menu" I have duplicates of the following items: restart, shutdown, logout and force quit ( one for application) One of each has dots after the words: restart and shut down. With the other 2 there is a funny character that looks like a staircase. Also, I now have a "black box" which surrounds icons on the desktop and also when you open folders. I also now have an American flag at the top of the screen and a funny voice talking all the time. How do I get it back to normal? Thanks in advance. Cheers, Bruce |

| System Preferences > Universal Access > Seeing > Turn VoiceOver off. (to get rid of duplicate Apple Menu items and the "voice narration")
