10.4.11 Regular Finder Crashes

Hi all.
Had a crash today and ever since my Finder crashes and restarts every 2 minutes or so. I doesn't matter what I'm doing. It doesn't seem to be linked to a particular program.
Any ideas?

The same thing happened too me. The finder crashes and restarts every 1.5 minutes exactly. OS X 10.4.11. Ran Disk Utility, MacJanitor and all seems clean. DiskWarrior 3.0.3 was unable to help.

Console.log showed this:
Mac OS X Version 10.4.11 (Build 8S165)
2009-01-24 16:03:49 -0600
2009-01-24 16:03:54.469 loginwindow[76] FSResolveAliasWithMountFlags returned err = -43

This started the series of crashes, each with this notation:

Hi there
I had the same problem after the quicktime update. In a german forum i have got the solution:

- go to the system settings
- at the bottom line > other: stuffit AVR
- stop the AVR

and it will work again

good luck from Switzerland
