| in use please tell me... there is something in my trash that i cant empty because it says it is in use can you please tell me how to get it out of use |

| Firstly, try this: Using Terminal, type PHP Code: This command deletes the Trash Folder but you'll need to recreate it by typing: PHP Code: Then log out/in to see if it worked. |

| I wonder if starting up in Safe Mode (hold down Shift when you hear the startup chime) would allow you to delete said file that's in the Trash. It's possible.
