Quicktime Player wont "hide"

Quicktime Player wont "hide"

When I have Quicktime Player open and press Command+H or Go to Quicktime--->Hide Quicktime, it doesn't hide and nothing happens.

Actually, now I've noticed, I can't even minimize it and now it says "Finder" instead of "Quicktime" on the menu bar. ... very strange
