| Help I tried to update Safari--now when I get on certain websites the internet crashed; I was able to use Firefox but my brother tried to fix Safari and it is still the same but now Firefox won't even pull up! |

| Is this on a Mac or a PC running Windows? Specifics on your computer would also help very much.

| Uninstall both browsers and reinstall the one you prefer to use. I recommend Firefox. Also, next time you have a question, please type at least part of your question in the subject or a term that has to do with your issue... you are more likely to get visitors to your question if you do. |

| This is misleading. There is absolutely no conflict between Safari and Firefox. I often have both browsers open simultaneously so that I can copy and paste between the two. Even though you may use another browser almost exclusively, you should still have Safari installed. Safari is the default MacOS X utility for administering web browsers. |

| sorry you were mislead... uninstall and reinstall both of them if you prefer. Just trying to help and this should fix your problems in both browsers. |
