Hi! For some reason, both my new Safari and Firefox browsers have problems displaying bold fonts, somehow rendering a letter or symbol 5 places in front of the actual one. The normal text is legible, but all the search words in bold become scrambled. Eg. font becomes "ajio": ![]() The only fix I have found is to change preferences, and remove the option of pages to choose their own fonts (as the problem only seems to occur with certain fonts). Does anybody have an idea how this can be fixed? Thanks, debord |

Try deleting your Font cache. To do this download either Yasu or Onyx to delete the font cache along with many other cache cleaning routines. If you decide to do all the cache cleaning is just remember to let the program restart you Mac plus immediately manually restart your Mac to rebuild the default Startup/ShutDown routine cache, for speedier startups & shutdowns.
