Lol ... Don't worry I recall all to easily the times when I would tear my hair out in frustration and then kick myself when I found the solution was actually quite simple!

What version of Mac OS X are you on nuttyuser? Also what version of iTunes?

Quit iTunes and launch it holding down the Option key. You will (hopefully) see the following:



Select New Library, name it and save it to the default location, your Music Directory.

Let me know when it's done.

Thanks for staying with me on this, I thought to myself, "VirtualTracy's probably fallen asleep or done a runner after all that waffle in my last post.
OS X 10.5.5
iTunes version 8.0
I have created,named and saved a new library to Music.
