Red face Installing Updates - Failure

I have Leopard 10.5.4 and I have a daily warning asking me to install the new update which has been downloaded. I try and it just fails after a few second saying, "sorry mate, cant do it, call the service centre" words to that effect. Never has this problem before with any other updates.

Then i re-start and back to the old version then next day off we go again. I have looked around and can't find a solution and God knows where the Cyprus Service Centre is.

I'm no computer wizard so can anyone offer a suggestion or tell me a number to call.

Cheers and thanks: Gwyn

Which update is it? Can you take a screenshot of the error? (apple-shift-4 then space and select the window, click)

Thanks. I see that it is 601MB. I am outside Paphos and can only get Satellite Broadband which feels sometimes like a slow death. I just looked at this and it tells me it will take 7 hours to download. Thanks for the information though and I will start the download at midnight tonight. Cytanet has just told me I can have i choice business now in my area so I will call them today as well to get a price. ..... G
