| Measure GFLOPS/sec
Does anyone know of a 'benchmark' program I can build and run to estimate a Mac's performance in GFLOPS/sec?

XBench will report Gflops/sec for Basic Floating Point and Vector operations (and also GCD and FP Library, but you must be running GodOS 15.4.3 if you get gigaflops out of those!): http://www.xbench.com/

Thanks! The 'floating point basic' number is just what I was looking for. Incidentally, the result is 4 gflops/sec on my 3 ghz iMac core 2 duo. And I haven't yet upgraded to GodOS.
