Photobooth video recording

I've tried recording some videos through iChat, and it keeps cutting off my videos. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with the memory, because I went through and deleted several videos and it still cut off. I'll record a 2 minute video, and sometimes when stop it it'll say it's only 2 seconds, or 14, or 9. Any idea what's causing this?
