So the startup issue I have had is now present on two machines. One, an older G4, and with my current iMAC. Neither computers will do anything beyond show a gray screen with the apple logo, and an "hourglass" like icon (actually a pinwheel with lines.) This is not a network issue. I've tried resetting PRAM, safe mode, unplugging everything and moving ports... |

No need to start a completely new thread for the exact, same problem. Simply use the existing thread if any other issues crop up (exact same problem manifesting itself on a different machine, any progress made in troubleshooting, etc.). http://macosx.com/forums/mac-os-x-sy...pple-logo.html

Makes Sense. I don't lurk on a lot of computer FYI forums (10k+ posts! Christ!) so the protocol for said ve"geek"hicle escapes me. I will thread properly now, lest the LARPS grow restless...
