| dual monitors on 24" Intel iMac
Software: OS 10.5.6 & VMFusion 2.01/WinXP2/Photoshop CS2 Question: Can I add an external monitor set to gamma 2.2 so I can see how photoshopped images will appear on Windows users' displays? The 24" iMac monitor is set at gamma 1.8. |

Yup. Which Intel iMac do you have? The new ones? The older aluminum ones? I believe you'll need a mini-DVI to either VGA or DVI, depending on what kind of external monitor you want to run.

One of them is "Windows RGB", and it'll show you what your image will look like on a PC. Check the View menu and choose "Windows RGB" in "Proof setup". Then use Command+Y to switch between Mac gamma and Win gamma...
