Hi everyone, I am using Mac Leopard, when I click Google, a previous search entry constantly appears in the Google search box, for over 1 year, I have tried to clear the History and this has no effect!, I have no trouble when using Google on a Windows machine !
Thanks !

In any browser open the program's Preferences (in the menu of the program) and delete the Google Cookie. It's that simple on any computer.

Is this the search box in safari? If so then you can reset Safari by going to I think the file menu and then go to reset Safari and it will give you options on what to reset.
What it also could be is your logged into Google on the Mac computer and the account will remember what you gave searched. You can take care of this by going, somewhere, you'll have to look around in Google. But its under Web History in Google and you can just delete that.
