sfloyd is on a distinguished road
connecting to a FAT32 formatted volume

I have two macs on the same network: on MacBookPro running MacOS10.5, one MacPro running MacOS10.4. I have a FAT32 partition on the MacBookPro hard drive. I want to connect to this from the MacPro. When I try to connect to server from the "Go" menu- I can connect to the other partitions of the hard drive, but not the FAT32 partition. I tried smb connection to this partition also- but no luck. any ideas? -scott

Did you use the correct SMB procedure? If you read this article it shows you how to connect to a SMB drive.
