| new g4 battery, freezes on startup I'm working on a G4, 733 mhz Power pc running 10.4. After replacing the internal battery, computer freezes up at startup. I hear the chime, blue screen and OSX box appears with progress bar and then nothing happens....any suggestions on a fix? thanks Claude  |

| Does it boot normally if you boot from the OS X Install CD/DVD? If so, it may be a problem with the installation of Mac OS X.
