Quickbooks 2007 incompatible with 10.5.6?

My Quickbooks Pro 2007 has worked well on my iMac for months. It will no longer open, crashing immediately upon launch. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled the software. Intuit (quickbooks) support says it is incompatible with osx 10.5.6. If that is the case, I assume many people would be having the same issue. Have you heard of this trouble before or have any suggestions?

Hello...been trying to reinstall for hours now. trashing preferences files over and over again. Just saw your post. I believe your right. there is another osx update prompting me. i will try to update osx and hope that fixes..
