.menu items are duplicated in my menubar????

I am having a very bizarre problem which I don't know how to fix or what may have caused it by basically all my menubar items ie clock, sound, airport, monitors etc etc are duplicated in my menu bar, ie it loads normally then it loads them all again.

Now I've searched for any duplicate files, I've trashed my prefs etc and nothing seems to work. However if I delete the duplicate menu items ie command drag when I log back in both of them are gone, ie it doesn't load at all???

Not sure what to do and I really don't want to reload my whole system for something like that.
