Youtube not displaying

Hey,

Can anybody help me, I understand this is a common problem:

At first, Youtube started displaying a none-CSSed page (you know... everything in Times New Roman) and the video would show up as a thumbnail. I would get a message about my Javascript being disabled and my Flash Player not being advanced enough.

My Javascript was enabled- I checked. And I updated my Flash Player with the link they suggested on the page. This didn't help so I also downloaded Shockwave and updated my Flash Player plugin.

After all this mess, I'm still getting the ugly grafics, I CAN view the video but I get no sound.

Now comes the weird part: I created another Mac user, just for this. And lo and behold: Youtube works perfectly on my other user.

I must have screwed something up- any suggestions?

what is your OS?
1. quit safari
2.try moving the com.apple.safari.plist to the desktop w/c can be found in ~/library/preferences
3.relaunch safari
4.go to safari preferences>security>web content
make sure everything is enabled
