okay so i have alot of random files that take up alot of space and i was thinking of formatting my hard drive but i dont have the install disks... so i was thinking about installing linux ( i have a macbook running tiger 10.4.11) and i have not heard very much about linux, my main question about it is, if i dont really like it is it possible to go back to my 10.4.11 OS after installing linux? |

(Thanks!*) ![]() If you format your harddrive and install linux, that will be the sole operating system on the computer. In order to return to 10.4.x, you'll need either the original installation disks that came with the computer (originally) - or you'll need a retail disk of Mac OS X Tiger. *for re-creating the thread in the correct forum.
