XCode crash

Hi Guys,

I am a newbie to XCODE and it doesn't even come up for me. It just crashes on startup. This is XCODE 3.1.2 on MAC osx 10.5.6. Any ideas? I had Safari 4.x and I downgraded to Safari 3.X based on some suggestions on the web. But XCODE still crashes and doesn't come up.
