iChat Buddies don't show up in both accounts

I just created a new AIM ichat screen name. I wanted to create a "biz" screen name and a "not biz" account. So. Everything is set the same. No blocks, etc. Both screen names on the same computer. I'm running the "latest" software...So, the buddies under the old screen name show up; The same buddy in the new screen name shows up as "offline." I sent him an IM note on the old screenname...says nothing blocked etc. I have rebooted. I have checked settings all identical. If they are showing up under one screen name, why not the other? Multiple checked, unchecked, rechecked....blocking, not blocking etc. Signed off in one account, signed into the other, signed out of iCHAT and just into AIM. Nothing changes. All Buddys under the new screen name show up grey. Even if on line and double checked on the other screen name. And, of course, there is no way to get an answer from any one in any way from AIM.
