Unhappy Renew DHCP? EVERY TIME?

I use Safari and sometimes Firefox on my Mac...every time I click on a link or browse to a new site, I have to click "Renew DHCP Lease" in order for it to actually get there. If I don't click that button, my computer just sits on the current site eternally.

Thought it had something to do with my campus internet service but the same thing happened from my home airport.

It is really getting annoying.

Open up System Preferences->Network and at the top of the pane select a new "Location" (calling it College or something) and get an address and click Apply. Plus make sure Airport is at the top of the column in the left hand pane.
