AES Encrypted disk images

After you create an AES encrypted disk image with disk copy is it possible to change the password, or will I have to create a new disk image, copy over the contents of the old image and then delete the old image?

Also, does anyone know what happens with any temporary files, such as swap files that are created. Is it possible for them to end up unencrypted on the hard drive?

Thanks,

Sonicbeez
