iPhoto Application Not Opening

I was reading one of your posts about iPhoto not opening and your suggestions for a user. I got to the point where I hold Option & Command keys and double click the iPhoto icon. It opened a box and I chose CREATE LIBRARY, and re-numbered it "_2"
iPhoto will now open but there are now no photos in it. You didn't go past this part on your other thread -

Please can you help with what I should do next ?
