image capture stopped working

Image capture just suddenly stopped working. It allows me to do an overview and then highlight the area I wish to scan in. But then it stops half way through the hi res scanning.

It then wont allow me to view the scan set up window

I'm using OSX 10.4.11

i have a similar problem, it downloads wherever it wants to....
does not automatically delete images from camera any longer...
very frustrating

No, i did not find any answer anywhere

It must have something to do with the computer i am using G5 ( for a many
years) it stopped suddenly on G5. However the program continues to work in my other computers...hmmm?

I did copy image capture application from the other computers, nooo it will not work any longer on G5.

I am downloading images now via CS4 Bridge.

Hope the answer why it stopped working will come one fine day.

I gave up and re-installed the scan program from Canon. It works fine.

Good for you.......

I should have switched in the beginning....lots of wasted time and
frustration....oh, well....now we know even mac is not perfect
