| TightVNC to share OS X desktop
I'm currently using TightVNC to virtualize my desktop; however, when I run the vncserver, it is only serving an X terminal rather than my OS X desktop. I believe that I have to change a setting (Display perhaps), but I'm not sure what parameter to set it to.

You might want to look into Vine Server if you're sharing your OS X desktop. http://www.testplant.com/products/vine_server/OS_X Also, OS X has had native VNC support since Tiger. The settings are in System Preferences-->Sharing. I personally prefer using Vine Server since it gives you more options.
