| Opening tomes in OS X?
I've got an Intel MacBook with OS X and need to get into a tome, seeing as how TomeViewer is for OS 9 and Pacifist doesn't open tomes I'm at a loss here. Anyone know of an app for OS X that'll open tomes and doesn't need classic? // TheJAG. |

Hm.. "open Tome archives on Apple system CDs to install individual items" What system files do you need from pre-X systems on your OS X? ![]() You could use it with SheepShaver.

AFAIK SheepSaver needs a file from within a tome to run classic apps. So without that file I wouldn't be able to use TomeViewer, right? Or have I compleatlly misunderstood how it works? Anyhow, I'm just interested in a few OS 9 system files, but if there isn't an easy way to access them then it's not a big deal. // TheJAG. |

The WordPerfect/Mac discussion group has put together an installer for SheepShaver with all the necessary components, with instructions, and it even includes a copy of WordPerfect/Mac (which you can, of course, just trash if you don't want it): http://macwp.com/files/SS-WP%201.1.zip
