iBook G4 freezing after a few minutes

My iBook G4 will freeze after a few minutes of being on, and if I turn it off and back on again it just boots to a blue screen and doesn't load the user menu. I have to leave it off for a while for it to work again.

I've already tried removing the files specified here:

it didn't work. :-P

Sounds like there is something with heat going on in the old Mac. It maybe not be able to be self fixed so if you might would want to have it looked at by a local Apple Specialist.
