Is it possible to change the standby screen???

I am only about 6 months into the Mac scene and love it. Being the guy that likes to tweak thing, I was hoping to be able to change the screen that when I come out of standby and waiting to enter a password from plain black to a graphic.

Anyone know if this can be done, and how???

Unhappy Unfortunately No it is not possible at this time.

No, as far as I know you are unable to change the standby screen at this time.

You seem very convinced of that...
MacPilot is a GUI to allow you to make changes to the various system settings. Just a matter of finding our which one to change, and how. MacPilot (and some other system config utilties) just makes the task simpler. If you can discover which .plist, etc. to modify, then that would be free, AFAIK.
And, the OP did not mention the need for free, so a pay-for utility is fair game, eh?

Your forum doesn't appear to have any discernible purpose.
Can you add something there that would help determine what the focus area is for your forum?

I'd say MacPilot is worth the $20. It can do much more than changing the standby screen. Just use the 15 day trial and you will see.

I never could take phpBB forums seriously...
