| viewing unique header on page 2 of template Word 2004?
Hi, I need to figure out how to access the logo image that was included in the second section of the header in a template document in Word 2004. Originally, the template was made to have two pages... with the header on each page unique. Now, the template has been changed to one page. When a document is created based on the template and a second page appears because the length of content is forcing a second page, the header on the 2nd page shows up with the one originally designed for the second page. I'd just like to find where this image is 'stored' in Word so that I can change it to something else. How do I do this? Hopefully this make sense! Thanks, Diane |

If I understand you correctly, then the image is stored in the template file.

I guess so but as the template is now a one page template, where is the image in the second page header 'stored' within the template? Thanks!

If you didn't delete the image, then it is still there.

If you right-click on the image in Word, or enter the "image edit" mode for that image, I believe you'll have the option of exporting or saving the image as a file. This is the only access you can have to that file apart from the document, as far as I know. I believe it's embedded into the Word document format, and, if you wish to manipulate the image as a file in the Finder, you'll have to export the image from the document as mentioned above.
