AlDante is on a distinguished road
iphoto 7.1.5 will not launch (nor will iDVD) after a system install and archive

I had to install and restore on my iMac G5. I then updated all software through System Preferences so I am now running OS X 10.4.11.. The original Install Discs included iPhoto 5. The updated iPhoto is 7.1.5. When I try to launch iPhoto it bops up and down then quits (as does iDVD). Thus, I can't access my iPhoto library of over 4000 photos. The library is there (over 20 gigs) and the screen saver is able to access it, but iPhoto cannot. This is the crazy thing about iPhoto, I can't even access my original jpegs (which wasn't the case in earlier versions). Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
