Hi all! I recently downloaded skype to use on my eMac running OSX 10.3.9. However, I cannot get the program to open. The little icon on the dock just bounces once when I click it and nothing happens. If I click again it will bounce again, but will never open. What do I have to do to get it to work? I have skype on my other two PCs and it works fine so I know there is no problem with firewalls or anything. Even if there was, the program should still open it just wouldn't be able to make calls. I'm a MAC noob so I know nothing about it and this whole experience has been very frustrating so far! Can anybody help me? It's the latest skype 2.7.0.330 |

Please tell us what specs your mac has. Hopefully this or more? http://www.skype.com/intl/en/download/skype/macosx/ * System requirements * Mac computer with G4 800 Mhz processor or faster. * Mac OS X v10.3.9 Panther or later. * For higher-resolution video a faster processor (Core 2 Duo) and a broadband connection with at least 384kbps upload speeds. * 512 MB RAM. * 40 MB free disk space on your hard drive. * Microphone and speakers or headset. * Download drivers for your webcam. * Internet connection (broadband is best, GPRS is not supported for voice calls, and results may vary on a satellite connection).
