Cant connect to wireless at home

I am using a powerbook g4 laptop and I'm trying to connect to thw wireless network at home through a D-Link DSL-G604T Generation II router. My airport is on and it seems to read the network "Wireless" Which is what I named it, but when I connect and prompted for a password which I put in as on my PC laptop it won't recognise it and says the password you entered is invalid (this is after following the steps when I push assist me when I'm in network -> Aipport).

Is there a different password I should be using? And how do I get it working is it because I am on 10.3.9 operating system?

Thanks heaps

The password being asked for is probably the one you use to connect to your ISP or to the router. Nothing to do with your computer password.

It should have been set up on the router. Did you double check that you had entered the right password before you saved the settings?

There's also something you can set called "authentication" if the box is ticked, untick it - or the other way round, whichever you find. Not sure if you have that, or what it does, but getting it wrong a while back messed up my connections.
