| graphicconverter creates add't "..._low.gif" files when saving
Hi, I'm a longtime user of GraphicConverter, but lately, for reasons completely mysterious to me, when I save a file in GC another file is created in the same directory: a low-quality .GIF named "[filename]_low.gif". I can't see any way in the preferences to turn this function off. Does anyone know why this is happening? Thank you. Macbook pro OS X 10.5.7 GC Universal Binary V6.04 l386 |

Strange! Though I don't have the answer, you might be served just as well by a sweet free app I just found called Seashore. Might help you avoid this issue entirely. Didn't Mark Twain say, "Never do today what you can put off till tomorrow?"

Thanks for the rec. I should also check out chocoflop and livequartz, which are ostensibly free as well.
