Wallpaper Folders Not Adding

I'm not sure if this has happened to anybody else, but here goes.

I was attempting to add another folder to my Wallpaper source list today, and when I chose the folder I wanted, nothing happened. Confused, I went back and tried to add the folder again, but when I did, it said that "folder already exists in image source list". Puzzled, I scrolled through the list many times, and the folder I told it to add wasn't there. I then realized that I had other images in my Pictures folder (system default), which were also organized into folders. However, those images were not being recognized or even appearing in my image list.

Has this happened to anybody, or does anybody know whats going on here? I called tech support, but they were about as helpful as a four year old.
