Question Can LAN replace Mini Display ?

Hi.
I just want to know if I can change my display to another computer using LAN. Is it possible ? Except the remote desktop softwares, are there any who do this task ?
Thank you in advance.

It will work with Apple Remote Desktop, VNC or ssh. Just make sure the services for remote access or ARD or VNC are enabled, and that you can keep track of your IP or DNS name in case the connection would be lost.
If there is no screen to attach to the Mac.. why not. I've got a permanent VNC set so that a Mac mini is always seen at an iMac, and so is a Mac Pro (that is located on a different floor). With 10.5.x, easy.

Thanks a lot for your answer. However, my purpose is to completely show my Mac screen on my PC. I'm using TeamViewer for that task; works well with LAN. Bus that is still Remote Desktop, it doesn't change your screen size (form 13" to 17", including resolution) and it affects the image quality, sometimes the speed (frame rate).
Thanks again for your help, I appreciate it.
