K-Media Center for Macs?

I've recently started using Macs (I'm a PC guy) upgraded my old MacBook to 10.6 as it had 10.4 originally. Alot of my clients are starting to use Macs so I've been "forced" to learn them.

One question I do have viewing avi, wmv, ect. on a Mac. I downloaded FlipXMac, Perian, and 3ivX but I hate going through one program to another to see which program will properly play a video file (sometimes none of them can).

Is there such thing as a all-in-one, or something similiar to Klite-Media Center (all-in-one for PCs) on a mac?

Thanks!!

EDIT: Sorry -- I meant K-Lite Media Pack.

I never stumped VLC yet. Plays anything you throw at it. I find controls are better than most players and quicktime. IMO.

I got it working so far with just Perian now...i upgraded to 10.6 so maybe the quicktime version that came with 10.4 was no good.
Thanks for your help though -- rmeaux

Perian on Quicktime, then VLC for anything else and it's fine.

OK -- I'll download VLC and give that a try as well. Thanks!
