| How to Install a Font in Snow Leopard
Following someone's directions a bit to slavishly, I managed to delete one of my favorite fonts from both Library/fonts and ~/Library/fonts: verdana regular. I don't know anything about fonts (isn't that how I managed to delete my favorite?). Will anyone tell me how to reinstall this font? Is it possible to retrieve it from the Snow Leopard disk??? Many thanks, Terrier |

Don't touch /Library. I can send you the font from my system if you like.

Thanks, but no need. I have been poking around and just figured it out. Sent myself the Verdana font from another Mac I have and imported it using Font Book. All seems to be working just fine. Many thanks, in any event, for taking the time to respond. |
