Entourage: could not open that feature

This morning my Entourage mail worked just fine, this afternoon, I try to open it and "could not open that feature, mail error." I have tried to rebuild the database by holding down the option key at launch and selecting both the typical and advanced rebuilds and neither one will go - the rebuild never starts. I am on a PowerBook G4, running MS Office 10.1.4.

I am so frustrated - I get the mail dialogue box, but I can't see messages in my in box. I can sometimes see emails that have been filed, but it is not consistent.

What should I do to fix this?

Other than your version of Entourage, you have give absolutely no relevant information by which to diagnose your problem. Entourage v.X is so old that most Office:mac users here probably never used it.

Your first mistake was to attempt to fix a problem that you don't understand. Going forward:

• Verify that you have a problem rather than a network or server glitch.
• What is your email provider?
• What is your email protocol, POP3 or IMAP?
• Which OS are you running?
• How much free capacity to you have on your hard drive?
