mac 0s 10.4.11

i have a powerbook g4. whenever i update to the 10.4.11 my mac freezes up, and i have to use the install disk to reinstall the older os. this has happen 3 times. now i have the 10.4.10 installed and everything is fine and im afraid to let it update to the 10.4.11 because i feel like it will freeze my computer up again. have you ever heard of this happening? is there a solution?

My much free capacity does your hard drive have?

78.8 gb now, since i reinstalled and cleared out my hard drive after the last freeze.
