I misread the post as I was very tired. I thought you wanted to open the main case and get to various components in a G5 Power Mac. PS you don't have to be rude. A spammer wouldn't post a link to a G5 take apart. Perhaps your cooling system needs work also... However, I'll still check the service manual for you and see if there's an answer there. PPS ..... I thought I'd better check your question/answer and I'm totally at a loss to why this link directs you to that site. / page . I copied and pasted it direct. Busyangel1 My intent was not rudeness - only that your post appeared to be a typical spammer technique at this site - with a statement appearing to support the post, then a link to whatever site that the spammer is offering - of course, the link has no relationship to the OPs situation. Yours appeared to be just that (not a link to a G5 repair manual), and is fairly common spammer material at that. I did not mean to offend if your mistake was inadvertent. You just have to realize that a lot of folks post here, with a large variety of possible agenda. Your first post appeared no different from a lot of others that spam here. Your real link seems quite helpful to the OP. I'm glad that you came back to help...

Sorry about my cooling system also. I didn't realize that there were people whose time was so meaningless that they have nothing better to do than post misleading information to people seeking help. I hope they grow up. Thanks for the forum, and the moderation. |
