Unhappy iCal Alarms for Recurring Events Resetting After Single Reminder Snooze

A problem with my iCal recently developed and I hope that someone here can help me.

OS: MAC OS X v10.6.1 (Snow Leopard)
iCal: v4.0
Other: iPhone connected and syncs with iCal

Before:
On iCal, I set up recurring events (most daily) with pop-up alarms. These worked fine, popping up at the appropriate times. I could "snooze" the alarms to remind me again later without a problem.

The Problem Now:
When I "snooze" an alarm, it returns later as it should. However, it also resets all future events' alarms to be on that particular day. The recurring event still exists for future days on iCal, but no further alarms appear, because all the recurring events' alarms were set to be for the day that I hit "snooze".
For example:
A recurring event runs Sep. 1 - 30 and is set up with an alarm of "Message / Display Message 5 Minutes Before Event".
The alarm for Sep. 1 appears as it should and gets dismissed. Good.
The alarm for Sep. 2 appears and gets set to "snooze" for 15 minutes. On Sep. 2, the alarm appears again 15 minutes later, and is dismissed. Good.
On Sep. 3, no alarm appears. A look at the recurring events for Sep. 3 - 30 show that all those events' alarms have somehow been changed to "Message / Display Message on 09/02/2009 8:55 AM". Bad.

The only "fixes" that I have found are to reset a recurring event's alarm back to "Message / Display Message 5 Minutes Before Event" or to simply avoid hitting "snooze" ever. Neither of these are convenient.

Potential Contributors to The Problem:
I suspect that this is an issue with iCal syncing with the iPhone; it seemed to start around then. I also recently upgraded to Snow Leopard, so that might also be a contributing factor, and I am not 100% sure which (if either of these) causes the problem.

Thank you in advance for any information you have regarding how to resolve this issue.

Arrow Apparently A Common Issue - Possibly A Bug

This issue might be a Snow Leopard bug. Many other users are reporting similar and related iCal issues in the Apple Support discussion forums.

Solution yet?

Have you found a solution to this yet? Happening also to me and driving me crazy. Basically makes "snooze" unusable, who wants to delete a year's or more worth of reminders every time you snooze? Happened to me upon upgrading to Snow Leopard.
