iCal & Entourage times are 10 hours out

I have been syncing my Palm using iCal from Entourage 2008 (default email/calender etc). If I enter a new event in Entourage it appears straight away in iCal but is 10 hours behind the correct time shown in Entourage. I have just bought an iPhone but all the times are now showing wrong. I recently updated to Snow Leopard. Is this the problem? Is there a fix? I've Googled and I don't seem to be an orphan. I can't seem to find any solutions. Help please
