Angry Moving iMovie project files removed associations

I moved my iMovie project files to another volume and now all the files have generic icons and are identified simply as "Document". iMovie will not recognize anything to open. Anyone know what happened? Please do not tell me I have lost all my files now. This is with OS X 10.2.4 and iMovie 3.0.2.

Thanks.

Uh. . .

Did you store them on a machine what wasn't a Mac?

Doug

[P.S. I did something similar.

I stored mine on my PC, and didn't realize that the PC represented the resource forks as .filename files.

Now I have (I think) useless iMovie files. ]

No, all within the same Mac, one drive to another. But I fixed it thank goodness. Get these scripts to fix the files. They work perfectly: http://www.berga.nu/~usrlt/imovie/index.html

Thanks!

That did the trick. I was able to recover my movies.

Cool!
