Mc Book ErrorApplication Finder

My Mc Book Pro is not detecting external flash drive. Also when I'm opening

existing files from My Documents, there is an error showing, 'Application

Finder can't be opened.' I have not yet installed any softwares. But I'm

unable to open any documents including pictures which I did earlier.
