Quicktime X freezes with m2ts files

Hello

I have the new MAC pro with 4GB memory, 2,66 GHz Quad core Intel Xeon processor and Geforce GT 120.
I installed also Windos XP professional with bootcamp.
The problem I have with m2ts files is : when I'm in Windows I try to read these files without problem. I use VLC. No freezing.
When I try to do the same in MAC wether is VLC or Toast player or Quick X image is freezing even if I change the resolution to 1440 x 900.
Do I have to install a codec somewhere in the MAC?

Thank you very much
Vladimir

The only two Mac QuickTime "codecs" you need in OS X are Perian and Flip4Mac. You will be able to view most video files that are not copy protected.

Now is this video copy protected? VLC will play most any video file but if the file is with Windows Media copy protection you need to re-encode that file to mp4 or something along that way, in Windows.
