| System Update not working properly
Was downloading iTunes 9.0.1 on Safari and then it told me 'A networking error has occurred: timed out (-1001). Make sure you can connect to the Internet, then try again.' But my internet is fine and still working ????

Have you done what the error message suggested: trying again? If this happens over and over again, then there would be reason for alarm. If it happened just the one time, though, simply try again. Let us know if it happens again.

Yes, I have tried again. The error message comes up EVERY time I try to use system update to download, but i check network diagnostics and it says everything is fine. Also, I have checked our other mac computers and it works on them just not this one??? |

Disable the OS X firewall on that Mac to see if it will update.
