Mac OS 10.5.8 - Unknown item in the trash...

Hi,

Every-time I empty trash there will be an unknown item left in the trash that will not empty. Eventually I found out it will only go away if I select it and GET INFO. It always dated Jan 1, 1904, 6.55AM(see attached image). Any one have a solution to get rid of this?

Thank You.

Paul

Do you use Boot Camp, and/or have Windows installed on your computer? Sometimes having Windows installed via Boot Camp can create an odd file in your trash.

Yes, I do. I think it might be caused by Cross Over. I remember I did not have this problem prior to the installation of Cross Over. Will uninstall and give it a go again.

Thank you for your clue.

Paul
